Come spend the weekend on the Hudson River at Croton Point Park, learning and refining traditional kayaking techniques. Instruction will be led by Cheri Perry and Turner Wilson of Kayakways. This is a small intimate group so registration is limited and fills up fast. Do not delay and miss out on the opportunity to be part of the experience.

first-come, first-served basis with your registration.

Third Annual Hudson Highlands Greenway Triathlon

Calling all athletes and volunteers.

This year's triathlon is a 38 mile, 4 1/2 hour race, in 3 elements. 6 mile kayak on the Hudson, 24 mile road bike along the Greenway Bike Route and 8 mile trail run through the Highlands. Each element takes 1 to 2 hours and all 3 elements begin and end at Dockside in Cold Spring. The triathlon is co-sponsored by the Philipstown Greenway Committee, Scenic Hudson and HHLT.

Registration fee is $60 per person for a solo entrant and $100 per team for a 3 person relay team. (For registration details and more information, go to www.hudsonhighlandstriathlon.org).

We are expecting as many as 100 participants and looking to find a group of enthusiastic volunteers to patrol the course on race day. Volunteers will need to report to Dockside by 9:00AM on Sunday September 28th. Training for the volunteers will be available before the race. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Nat Prentice at natprentice@mac.com or by cell phone 845/661-8937.
